FARO/LASER SCANNING
XL Pattern uses the latest technology to ensure machined parts and tooling are correct to your tolerances, before they leave our shop, by both probing and/or Laser Scanning the part geometry and using PolyWorks software to align and compare. Once you have a baseline scan of new tooling, it is very easy to check for tooling wear or verify engineering changes made by your customer. With PolyWorks software we can align and check everything in one file, including New and Old 3D data along with casting and tooling scans.
REVERSE ENGINEERING
No Drawing or 3D data on an existing part? No problem! We can Laser Scan and create the 3D data for you. We can then use that data for a rapid prototype or production tooling.
CASTING INSPECTION
Once you have a casting off our tooling, send it to XL Pattern and we will Laser Scan and create a Color Map Overlay to a specified set of tolerances in a fraction of the time that a conventional layout takes.
